What was it like to be a kid in 1600s Plymouth? Learn about our history and spend this one-week camp experiencing similar things that Pilgrim and Wampanoag children did in the 17th century! Campers will make crafts, play games, dress-up in colonial reproduction clothing, and perform chores that would have been done by Native and Colonial kids. Spend time on our Exhibit Sites interacting with our Museum Educators and Artisans, along with exploring areas of downtown Plymouth and Plimoth Grist Mill (Mayflower II is away on a two-year restoration in Connecticut). Join us to create, learn, explore and grow during Plimoth Plantation’s Plimoth Adventures!

Youth Public History Camp

Does your child love history? Do they love visiting Plimoth Plantation? If the answer is a hearty “yes!” and your child is between the ages of 8 -16, and has attended at least two years of Summer Camp at Plimoth Plantation, then your child may be considered for our Youth Public History Camp.

Youth Public History Camp provides an opportunity for dedicated youth to work alongside Plimoth Plantation’s Museum Educators. As junior public historians, campers learn how to interact with our Museum Guests on-site. In past years, Youth Public History Campers have worked on-site in the English Village, the Wampanoag Homesite, and in the Visitor Center presenting a wide array of public programs.
